Doenjang-Jjigae (된장찌개) is a classic Korean comfort food made with fermented soybean paste (doenjang), known for its rich, savory, and deeply umami flavor. This hearty stew typically includes tofu, vegetables like zucchini and potatoes, mushrooms, and sometimes seafood or beef, all simmered together to create a warm and satisfying dish. Served bubbling hot and often enjoyed with rice, it’s a staple in Korean households and a perfect introduction to the depth of traditional Korean cuisine.

* For those who would like to enjoy their meal after the cooking class, rice, seaweed papers, and kimchi will be provided.
