About the event
Korean Language Classes
Whether you're just starting out or building on your basics, our Korean Language Classes are designed to help you learn in a fun, structured, and supportive environment. Based on feedback from past students, we now offer a bridge class (Hangul Builder) to help students transition smoothly from the alphabet level to beginner level.
Levels Offered & Prerequisites:
Level 1 — Hangul Starter (Previously "Alphabet")
Prerequisite: None — complete beginners welcome.
Focus: Absolute beginner - learning consonants & vowels individually
Learn all 14 basic consonants with pronunciation & stroke order
Learn all 10 vowels with pronunciation & stroke order
Writing practice for each letter
Level 2 — Hangul Builder (Bridge Class)
Prerequisite:
Recognize & write all consonants & vowels
Pronounce them individually correctly
Focus: Combining letters and reading simple syllables/words
Forming syllables (consonant + vowel, consonant + vowel + final consonant)
Reading and writing simple syllables & words
Basic pronunciation rules and common exceptions
Practice with simple vocabulary
Begin simple oral reading
Level 3 — Beginner 1A
Prerequisite:
Read & write Hangul syllables and simple words confidently
Understand basic pronunciation rules
Recognize some simple vocabulary
Focus: Basic grammar and everyday conversation skills
Basic sentence structure (SOV), particles (은/는, 이/가)
Present tense verbs, common vocabulary
Simple greetings introductions
Basic question forms and numbers
Everyday expressions and role-play

Tuition & Refund Policy
Tuition Fee: $30 (covers all sessions)
Class Cancellation: If fewer than 7 students enroll for each level, the corresponding level is subject to cancellation and a full refund will be issued.
Refund: Full refunds are available if cancellation is requested at least 7 days before the course begins and before registration is closed due to full capacity. Once the course is full and registration closes, no refunds will be issued for any reason.
